Bella Voce (Beautiful Voice) is Voices of the Valley's traditional vocal ensemble for both girls and boys ages 9-16. In this choir, singers will learn basic foundations of singing such as breath support, intonation, resonance, and balance. Bella Voce singers also learn basics of reading musical notation, solfege, and hand signs. Bella Voce performs in at least two concerts a year as well as various community events. Sola Voce (One Voice) is Voices of the Valley's auditioned chamber ensemble. It consists of a very select group of singers selected through an audition process. These singers will work on advanced choral repertoire and vocal technique and are experienced in reading music. Sola Voce will perform in at least two scheduled concerts as well as other community events. Sola Voce singers are required to participate in Bella Voce rehearsals on Monday nights from 7:00-8:00.
